  1:13 (7/8")  Scale 
Figure Castings

These Figures are about 5.2" tall. They were designed to fit VERY   
Large ScaleModel Railways, and are exactly 1:13.7 or 7/8"/ft. Scale.
They may also be suitable for some 1:12 (1"/ft.) Dollhouse scenes.

Original exact-scale sculptures by Carlo Spirito are carefully cast in Polyurethane Resin,
a very hard and stable medium, for use indoors and out, and are made with love, one at a time.
Figures are shipped as clean white resin castings, with instructions for assembly,
modifications, and painting.

      FIGURE KITS: Most of my 7/8ths Scale figures come with separate, multiple parts (heads, arms) in different styles, looks, and poses. Pieces can be assembled in any positions to create your own unique characters, and are also interchangeable between figures. One piece castings can also be "customized" using instructions supplied with each figure. For example, Gus, the loco driver at left (click on image to enlarge) has a body from "E.J.", a head from Dub (#2), and has had his left hand modified with "MagicSculp" epoxy putty, to grip a vertical lever.
 
 BODY PARTS: I will make "heads" and "arms" available separately to those who might need them for "bashing" or sculpting their own. Contact me for details.
 
KIT-BASHING: Jim Russell (recent Gazette author) has done some remarkable "kit-bashing" with these figures, by mixing and modifying body parts. Here are some examples (l-r... Bob, Dub, 2 Floyds). Click to enlarge images:

I create all of my original sculptures from Polymer Clay. Then the sculptures are
carefully molded in Silicon Rubber, and hand-cast (one-at-a-time) in Polyurethane Resin,
a very hard and stable medium, even outdoors.
